The project challenge in smart AGRICULTURE asks students to create a project that focuses on the “smart” technologies and science behind food production. Students are challenged to create a demonstration, experiment, hands-on experience, infographic or design their own project that fact-checks the realities of modern farming, farmers and food.

smart AGRICULTURE
smart AGRICULTURE asks students to explore concepts of biodiversity, biotechnologies, climate change and agricultural technologies – through the lens of both consumers and farmers. Students focus on ways they can be more involved with our food system – and what they can do to ensure that decisions about our food system are based on science, accurate information and informed choices.
