The project AGRICULTURE topic question for their project-based inquiry is: How can an investigation of matter help us understand where our food comes from?

food MATTERS

food MATTERS encourages students to explore the states of matter, properties and interactions of everyday foods and drinks. Students use examples of food products produced by Alberta farms and farmers to experiment and investigate the properties of foods and drinks, consider what happens when they are heated and cooled and apply the particle model of matter to their investigations.
